Yes, the art studio of Italian master sculptor Vittorio Tessaro is specialised in the creation of custom bronze statues. 

When we need to create a custom sculpture from photographs, then it is essential to have photographic material in good definition and taken from multiple points of view showing the subject to be portrayed in the bronze statue.

Vittorio Tessaro‘s  art studio has been exclusively producing BRONZE sculptures for several decades. 

Only for particular needs (related to aesthetics, weight and budget) we can formulate a quote for the creation of subjects in clay. 

The minimum dimensions of the bronze sculptures we make are 20 cm in height.

Usage as gadgets, favours and small decorative objects is absolutely impossible as the cost of the sculpture would not be justified for such a purpose.

A customized bronze statue is certified as a UNIQUE piece and the mould made to produce will be destroyed after the bronze is cast, therefore no other similar item will exist in the world.

In the conventional system of artistic sculpture , any work made with 12 specimens is considered a “unique piece”, which in most countries are translated into 8 specimens + 4 author’s proofs, with the exception of some countries (in France for example they are 9 specimens + 3 author’s proofs). 

In the catalogue there are some very small bronze sculptures that are part of a “limited run”; by “limited run” we mean a production exceeding 20 pieces.

Of course! It is just terminology that has been differentiated by law.
There is no difference in price or value between an item and an author’s proof. 

We should point out, among other things, that even if they come from the same mould (made on the basis of the initial clay work) all the bronze sculptures (items and author’s proofs) will to some extent be different from each other, as each is finished and coated by hand once it has come out of the kiln and the refractory lining.

The master sculptor Vittorio Tessaro has a rather stable quotation on the art market and, depending on the subject purchased, the bronze works can maintain or acquire value over time. 

A custom bronze sculpture does not follow the same criteria, as collectors or gallery owners may not be interested in a subject not present in the catalogue.

The only works at very low prices signed by Vittorio Tessaro are resin or ceramic creations dating back to the 1970s (at the beginning of his artistic career) that can be found in some markets or on Ebay and that have nothing to do with the bronze production by Vittorio Tessaro himself.

As with all artists, it is possible to occasionally find some bronze sculptures in the catalogue at affordable prices in some art auctions.

There have been some attempts at imitation (which have already been reported several times) by Chinese companies that steal photos from our catalogues and sell sculptures at ridiculously low prices (a few hundred euros).

We ask you to be wary of these situations, not only because you will never be able to have the certificate of authenticity for these statues, as they have NOT been made by Italian master sculptor Vittorio Tessaro, but you can be certain you have purchased a printed resin item with bronze-coloured surface paint. 

In short, it will be a genuine piece of junk!
