Custom bronze statues: first the model is made in clay, then in wax and finally, using the ancient technique of “lost wax bronze casting”, a specific mould is created in which the bronze will be cast. After use, the mould is destroyed, so as to guarantee the uniqueness and exclusivity of your customized bronze statue forever.
Personalized Bronze Memorial Statues.
If you wish to remember a loved one who has left us and pay tribute to them in a special way, the master bronze sculptor is able to create particularly realistic memorial statues, even from old photographs (see example below).
The human physiognomy is particularly complicated to reproduce faithfully (both because it naturally changes over the years, and because it must be reproduced from a photo, which is ‘two-dimensional’, to a bronze model, which is instead three-dimensional), but with Vittorio Tessaro’s customisation skills about bronze personalised works, the person to whom the commemorative sculpture will be dedicated can be represented at the historical moment of their life with which you will have the most pleasure in remembering them… and having them remembered.

But how do the artistic creations of the Italian custom statue maker Vittorio Tessaro, so admired in Europe and beyond, come to life?
Very briefly, like this: the work is carried out in clay, then in wax, then, after the refractory lining of the modelling, through the “lost-wax bronze casting” system a mould is created in which the bronze will be cast.
When freed from the refractory material, the cast sculpture is ready to be finished.
The work must be freed from the conduits, which are cut with saws and disc wheels.
The blisters from casting and surface imperfections are carefully closed with welding; only then does the master sculptor intervene with files, rasps and abrasive cloth, before completing the work with chisels to bring out the details.
The attention and skill with which the casting pins and all surface imperfections are removed is decisive in determining how much welding material will be used to fill and refine the surface discontinuities generated.
The soldering material used inevitably has a different composition from the bronze itself (for reasons related to the casting temperature and other things).
Therefore all the superficial details that will be “fixed” with this material will, in the future, give rise to reactions to time and external agents different from the bronze parts of the sculpture.
Surface porosity, stains and differences in oxidation with patches of different colours may therefore be generated.
These problems, which emerge with the passage of time and which are very common in bronze statues with a more "economic" construction, compromise the value, prestige and aesthetics of the work, the appearance of which will significantly worsen over the years.
All this explains how important it is, once the master sculptor has given the custom bronze sculpture all its artistic value, to also apply extreme skill and sensitivity to all the complementary processes that are generally carried out by the collaborators of the foundry. The coatings and surface oxidations are then carried out to give the bronze any colour, with which we can customise our bronze sculptures very realistically.

We are often asked if we can make a custom sculpture from photo of the subjects to be portrayed, even to realize personalized memorial statues to remember the loved ones who have left us.
The answer is obviously “YES”!
We have already made several commemorative bronze statues from photos and essentially you can choose a life-size statue or a custom bronze bust (the latter option is generally the preferred one, both for the importance of memory and the greater ease of being able to place it in the most suitable location, and to limit the costs of the bronze work).
The important thing, especially in the case of personalized memorial statues, is for us to be able to receive photographic material in good definition, possibly with images taken from different angles.

On a whim , I decided to do research on sculptures of beautiful women.
For weeks I was reading on sculptors from all over the world. Then I chanced upon the works of Vittorio and I fell in love with his bronze sculptures.
His creation was astounding and I was mesmerized. I immediately contacted his studio and spoke to Gabriele and over a span of I believe 18 months I was able to acquire 3 of his wonderful pieces.
